A BIG CONGRATS on 1,700 consecutive days! Really awesome! Wow, another milestone has arrived! : ) For most GBs (8M plus) they don't seem to have the dedication or the persistence it takes to come back and post gas prices each day for other GBs! Or they just run out of gas! :( Hang onto your speed lines, it only takes one day to lose them! I'm sure you know! But, even clicking on news articles links, which are the easiest points here on GasBuddy, when you can't or didn't post gas prices before midnight will save your consecutive days! : ) WARNING! Every day GBs lose their consecutive days, many with big numbers, the #1 reason, "oops, I just forgot!" :( If you ever lose your consecutive days; that is NO FAULT of your own, please contact the mods! Fully agree with your post on the poll this week. NG vehicles already exist. When I was in Brazil, they are on the road. Here in the USA, you primarily see fleet trucks like UPS delivery vans.

You are the one in 500 Gas Buddy members who understands fundamental economic principles and is not a complete idiot. Right above your post, however, was that of someone saying that the way to combat gouging was to fill your tanks! In other words, he was advocating hoarding. Idiocy! Higher prices prevent hoarding. Higher prices hurt those who want to buy more than they need; hoarding hurts everyone further back in the line, who can't buy any fuel at any price.
